In any corona treatment system, the silicone sleeve acts as the vital dielectric barrier between the high-voltage electrode and the ground roller. A compromised sleeve leads to pinholes, uneven treatment, and costly downtime.

  • Converting & Laminating Machines: Ensuring the backup roller remains insulated during secondary treatment.

Maximize the Lifespan of Your Sleeve:

  • Clean the Roller: Ensure the metal roller is free of old adhesive, dust, or rust before installation.
  • Use Air Assist: Use an air nozzle to expand the sleeve slightly while sliding it onto the roller to prevent tearing.
  • Check for Trapped Air: Ensure there are no air bubbles trapped between the roller and the sleeve, as this can cause hot spots and premature failure.
  • Regular Inspection: Rotate the sleeve periodically if possible and inspect for carbon tracking or pinholes.
